Pittsburgh\u2019s riverfronts are booming. With such rapid growth, how can our rivers support different needs for industry, housing, the environment, recreation and entertainment?<\/p>\n
On Thursday, March 16, the City of Pittsburgh will host \u201cWaterfronts That Work: Pittsburgh and Beyond,\u201d<\/strong> from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Carnegie Science Center on the North Shore (map)<\/em><\/a>. Light snacks and refreshments begin at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n Representatives from waterfront cities from across the U.S. will share the lessons they\u2019ve learned from creating waterfronts that strive to work for everyone.<\/p>\n For a list of cities represented and speakers, and to register to attend the free summit, visit the event website.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/a>RELATED: Take the “Waterfronts That Work” Pre-Summit Survey<\/strong><\/a> to voice your opinions about Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.
