The residences will be located between 19th and 21st Streets along the Allegheny River.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to new housing, the project will include riverfront\u00a0courtyards, storage for bicycles and kayaks, a plaza at 19th Street, and a 14-foot-widening and improvement of a section of the\u00a0Strip\u2019s existing Three Rivers Heritage Trail between 19th and 21st Streets. Construction is expected to take two years.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.post-gazette.com\/business\/development\/2016\/07\/26\/Agreement-clears-the-way-for-start-of-Strip-District-project\/stories\/201607260082\"><\/p>\n<p>More details at the Post-Gazette.<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Related: Three Rivers Heritage Trail closure announced for Strip District<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Three Rivers Heritage Trail between 11th and 21st Streets in the Strip District will be closed beginning\u00a0Monday, August 1, 2016\u00a0as work begins on two riverfront improvement projects.<\/p>\n<p>The Buncher Company will be performing a trail clean-up project from 11th to 16th Streets and NRP Group (see above)\u00a0will be working on sanitation pipes from 18th to 21st Streets for their residential construction project. Buncher&#8217;s project is scheduled to be completed in November 2016, pending\u00a0unforeseen circumstances, at which time the trail will reopen from 11th to 15th Streets.
