Created by Congress, the Land and Water Conservation Fund has helped conserve thousands of acres across the country since 1964. Federal funds from LWCF has supported national parks, wildlife refuges, forests, community parks, trails, and fields in each of the 50 states.<\/span><\/p>\n

The passage of this bill will allow for an increase in dedicated funding for communities across Pennsylvania. Now the bill will head directly to the President\u2019s desk for signature.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the past, LWCF funding has gone to projects including South Side Riverfront Park<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0North Shore Park<\/a><\/strong> and Allegheny Landing<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nature gives people a place to recharge and reconnect, even during challenging times.
