Over the weekend, a Black Lives Matter mural was created under the Fort Duquesne Bridge along the Allegheny River between Point State Park and Allegheny Riverfront Park in downtown Pittsburgh, a site owned by the City of Pittsburgh and <span class=\"text_exposed_show\">PennDOT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/riverlifepgh.org\/riverfront-guide\/to-be-determined-under-the-fort-duquesne-bridge\/\">Riverlife has led numerous efforts to bring public art to this site over the years<\/a>, elevating beauty, important voices, and ideas. While we were not involved in creating this mural, we understand and honor the importance of this unique moment as our nation\u2014and Pittsburgh\u2014reckons with the longstanding pains of racial injustice.
