How about hitting Pittsburgh&#8217;s riverfront trails and checking out the <strong><em>award-winning<\/em><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/riverlifepgh.org\/riverfront-g\u2026\/mon-wharf-switchback\/\">Mon Wharf Switchback<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s right, we&#8217;re excited to announce that the Switchback has won two more awards: the <strong>2020 TQI Community Connection Award<\/strong> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paconstructors.org\/\">Associated Pennsylvania Constructors<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchofdimes.org\/\">March of Dimes<\/a> <strong>Transportation Project of the Year<\/strong> as part of their 10th Annual Pittsburgh Transportation, Building and Construction Awards.<\/p>\n<p>These honors come on top of the Mon Wharf Switchback&#8217;s award last year for <strong>Outstanding Highway Engineering<\/strong>\u00a0from the\u00a0<strong>American Society of Highway Engineers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thank you for recognizing great projects that connect cyclists and pedestrians to Pittsburgh&#8217;s riverfronts!<\/p>\n<p>Riverlife is proud to have built the Mon Wharf Switchback with our partners at <a href=\"https:\/\/pittsburghpa.gov\/domi\/index.html\">Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/saiengr.com\/\">SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc.<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clearwaterconstruction.com\/\">Clearwater Construction<\/a> with assistance from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcnr.pa.gov\/Pages\/default.aspx\">Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/pittsburghparking.com\/\">Pittsburgh Parking Authority<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking for a little alone time this weekend while the weather&#8217;s nice?
