As careful observers and good listeners, our approach to the design process begins with detailed observation of what\u2019s already happening on a site and close communication with clients and communities. In that way, we unearth inherent value and beauty. Past projects range from large scale urban design strategies, such as \u2018Magnetic Urban Field\u2019 for Graz, Austria to temporary interventions in public space, such as the \u2018Wishing Table\u2019 in Dessau, Germany or most recently \u2018Hiding in Plain Sight\u2019 in downtown Pittsburgh. The teams will introduce themselves during a free <a href=\"http:\/\/riverlifepgh.org\/youre-invited-meet-tbd-semifinalists-friday-january-26-bricolage-theater\/\">public open house on Friday, January 26 from noon-3:00 pm at Bricolage Theater<\/a> downtown and conduct community engagement activities to gather feedback from Pittsburghers about the potential of the riverfront space under the bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Once their proposals for the temporary installation are developed after meeting with community members, the three semifinalist teams will then present their ideas to the jury next month.
